Karen and Travis’ closest friends and family joined them in Rosemary Beach to witness their wedding and it was amazing! Karen was anxious to see her groom as she got dressed and her dad’s face was priceless as he saw her for the first time. As they made the walk down to the beach, her dad practiced his one very important line over and over…”Her mother and I do”. They descended the stairs and Travis’ face lit up as he saw his beautiful bride for the first time that day. The ceremony was intimate and sweet and was followed up with a personal reception decorated by Karen herself. Karen and Travis, y’all are such an amazing couple and I loved spending your wedding day with you!

Free engagement session in Atlanta? Yes way…

Calling all engaged Atlanta couples! We are going to be in Atlanta on Wednesday, June 16th and want to celebrate YOUR LOVE with a free engagement session. All you have to do is pick out your favorite picture as a couple that shows how much you love each other and tell us why you should win the session!

Ready to enter??? Here’s what you do:

1. Find the best picture that represents you and your fiance and email it to us with why you should win!

2. Like our Facebook page so you can find out who is the winner.

The contest will run May 17th through June 6th (voting will close 11:59pm CST). The couple with the most creative, unique picture and best reason wins. Yes, we would like to shoot it while we are in town, but if June 16th doesn’t work for you, we can work something out for the next time we’ll be in town.

Cutie Pies :: Pensacola Portrait Photographer

These two cutie pies are hilarious! I had so much fun chasing them around Fort Pickens in Pensacola! I know they are super excited about their daddy coming home from his deployment…so hopefully these pictures will give him something to look at until his arrival. Allen & Ashley :: Atlanta Wedding Photographer

Seven guests gathered at Lucillle’s Mountaintop Inn on March 26, 2011, to witness the sweet, intimate wedding of Allen and Ashley. It was dark and drizzly outside, but it didn’t dampen the mood of anyone. Ashley arrived at the B&B and got settled into the wedding suite, while Allen was waiting with his parents downstairs, playing with the kids and keeping his mind off the clock. It seemed like it took forever for it to begin, but it was nothing compared to the time it took for them to finally be together.

They have known each other since high school, but it wasn’t the right time for them. They each went their separate ways, but several years later God moved them back together through the special way only He can do. Now, they are man and wife and sharing the life that was meant for them from the beginning.

Not only did Allen marry Ashley on this Saturday, but they joined their family together with Ashley’s son Jackson, who excitedly told everyone, “I am marrying Allen today, oh and Mommy!”

Megan & Chris :: Navarre Wedding Photographer

They met through church, she adds in, but he was taken at the time – little did she know that a little while later she would be consoling him over the breakup. They banter back and forth on who should tell the story, so she moved forward and mentions that after his breakup, they would chat on Facebook to talk through this horrible time. He throws his head back and laughs, claiming she is making it sound dramatic and it totally wasn’t THAT bad.

As it was, two weeks later they went on a group date together for a church event and the rest of course is history…until he proposes. Being the girl who doesn’t like the spotlight, Chris went back and forth over what would be the perfect proposal. Ultimately, he knew it needed to be private, so after dinner, when they got back to her place, he got down on one knee and proposed in her living room where they shared their first kiss.

While that kiss represented the beginning of their relationship, the kiss they shared on their wedding day is a kiss that represents the rest of their forever. The forever, that will be sweet and beautiful…Congratulations Meghan & Chris!
